Since I need new comp as my current one is too slow for some games (crysis2 video card not supported ... lol), pls advise me with some configuration.

I think I'm gonna base on i5 CPU and some radeon graphics (if u think nvidia is better pls explain why and propose something). So basically whole comp excluding periferals. So CPU, MB, Ram, PSU, case, HDD (SDD?), Graphic card. I'm ready to spend around 500-800 Euros.

Hm,

CPU:
- i5-2500(k) -> the k-version offers more possibilities for overclocking, but the 2500 is totally enough imho (got myself the 2500 version)
- something i wanna mention, the fans of the boxed version arent really silent, so if u want a quiet pc u will need another -> Scythe: Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B
~ 170?

MB:
- Depends on your needs. If u want some fancy blingbling stuff then it will get expensive Wink
- My advice, dont buy an ASUS or ASROCK!!! I bought one of the low level ASUS mb's and it was really not worth the money. In idle mode it made some high frequent noise!
- I'd go for a Gigabyte or MSI
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3
~ 140?

RAM:
- 4gb are enough imho
~ 45?

PSU:
- dont go cheap on that!!!
- Some Enermax, OCZ with atleast 500w
~ 60?

Case:
- I've got some good experiences with Coolermaster
Maybe: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=21
~ 50?

HDD:
- SDD, imho they are too expensive regarding their advantages at booting and starting programs faster...
- Samsung Spinpoint F3 (SATA)
1 Tb ~ 40?
1,5 Tb ~ 60?
2 Tb ~ 80?

GFX/GPU:
- Some ATI/AMD Radeon 5850, most of them are identical, so u can chose whatever brand is the cheapest Smile
- the 6850 cost as much as the 5850, but its about 10% slower than the 5850
~ 140?

= ~ 680?

OK, this is the configuration I got:

CPU: Intel i5 2500K (Sandy Bridge Unlocked)
MB: Asus P8P67 Pro
GFX: Asus HD6850 1GB DDR5
COOLER: Thermaltake Frio
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB
PSU: Seasonic x560, 560W, 80+ Gold
CASE: Thermaltake Armor A60
RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue 1600 Mhz 2x2GB
OPTICAL: Optiarc DVD/RW DL

Installed Win 7 64bit and now finishing installation of software. After some initial problems when assembling comp it seems to be working good now. Now have to try it in game Smile
